Happy Halloween!   Wrapping up Spirit week is Costume Day.  The winners of the grade war challenges will be announced on Monday.  Thank you everyone for participating in a great week.

Attention Members of Senior Jazz and Rock Band. Senior Jazz and Rock Band students will be called down to the band room at the beginning of period 2 today to get ready for the Pride Rally.
Attention all students.  We are now accepting cash or cheque for yearbooks in the office for the 2015-2016 school year. This is a great momento to have.  Yearbooks are $20.

Today's JV girls volleyball practice has been cancelled

There will be an important meeting for all members of student advisory, student council and GSA on Tuesday, Nov.3 at 12:00pm in room 109. Please be sure to attend. Your input is important!

This week is spirit week. Today is Tropical Tuesday. Tomorrow is Orange and Black Day, Thursday is TOGA Day, and Friday is Costume Day.......

Our Boys’ Piper Hockey Team won their second game of the season defeating St. John’s Ravenscourt.  We had 5 players score their first goal to start their hockey career.  Our next action goes Thursday 4pm at the Iceplex against College Beliveau.

University Of Manitoba is having an Evening of Excellence tonight for high achieving students from Grade 11 or Grade 12. It starts at 6:00pm.   For more information please see Mrs. Grant or Mr. Johnson, more information is also on the U of M website.

There will be two random Grade war challenge days - so get in the Spirit and Get involved to claim the title of this year's Grade War Winners. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Paragg

Our results were similar to the outcome of the last night's Federal Election.

Announcements for October 2 2015

A reminder that permission forms for the Sweat Lodge field trip MUST be in to Mrs. James today.

The next intramural activity is indoor football. Sign-up sheets are located outside of Gym A. Get a few friends and get involved.

Attention all Musical Theatre Students:  Auditions for Mary Poppins will be held next week.  Please see Ms. Carter for information and audition times.

There will be a short meeting today for all students in GR. 11 and 12 in out of school Phys Ed. during Period 2 in the theatre.

The Varsity Girls Volleyball team will be holding a bake sale today from noon-1pm.  Please come and support.

A reminder that we are a scent free school so please avoid wearing strong perfumes and deodorants.

Announcements for October 1, 2015

Attention all grads, JV boys volleyball team members and Nicaragua fund raisers - Peak of the Market orders will be available for pick up today between 4:00-5:30 out of the Foods and Nutrition room.  If you sold any veggies, you must arrange to pick up your order tonigh and deliver the veggies to your customers.

Art Club begins today from 3:30 – 5:00 pm in the Art Room.  See Mrs. Franklin for more information.  Everyone is welcome!

There will be a scheduling meeting of the JT Yearbook photography club today at noon in room 309.
